Using Blockiversity
Open Blockiversity and choose a worldUse your own Space and the worlds your family allows.
Open your Space, choose Activities, then Open Blockiversity. The lobby shows the selected child and character, world choices, saved play time and family storage. Pick a Family World to build with your family or a personal world when allowed. Character choices are saved for your account.
Back to SproutSpace returns to the Space. A missing world or activity may be a parent permission, world-choice setting or paused access; ask a parent rather than creating a different account.
Blockiversity Credits and learning challengesCorrect answers earn play time without penalizing mistakes.
A new child begins with ten minutes. One correct Math or Spelling answer earns a credit worth the parent's chosen 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 minutes of play, up to the parent's maximum saved-time limit. Wrong answers never subtract time. Your balance persists between visits.
Use Earn play time in the lobby or learning/time button in the world to choose Math or Spelling. Enter an answer and check it. Spelling provides Hear the word when speech is supported. Challenge levels and available subjects come from parent settings.
There is no separate periodic learning timer. Children may keep playing until their saved playtime runs out. When the balance reaches zero, a learning question opens so they can earn more. You are protected from Mosslings while learning. Owners, Parents / Guardians and permitted Caregivers have unlimited adult play; Caregivers do not gain parent settings authority.
Movement, touch controls, camera and emotesUse the controls that match your device.
- Move: W A S D on a keyboard, or the movement thumb control on touch.
- Look: drag the world, or use the look thumb control.
- Jump: Space or JUMP.
- Gather: hold left click or BREAK on the targeted block.
- Place: right click or PLACE.
- Defend: aim and left click or ATTACK.
- Craft: use CRAFT when available; tools equip automatically.
- Camera: C or the camera button cycles First Person, then rear third-person Near, Medium, Far and Extra Far, then Front Near before returning to First Person. Front Near lets you see your character's face from 4.2 blocks away, matching rear Near. Game Menu also shows the current camera.
- Emotes: open Game Menu and choose Emotes.
When a menu or learning dialog is open, finish or close it before moving or building. Touch controls and button placement adapt to screen size.
Building, inventory and shared missionsGather supplies, select a block and follow the plan.
Select a building material from your available inventory, aim at the world and place it. Gathering adds available materials. Crafting offers tools and supplies supported by the game.
Open the mission/build-plan button to see the current shared build. The plan shows layers and remaining work. Guide colors help find missing or incorrect blocks; use the plan and available guide controls when a build is hard to follow.
Family builders contribute to the same mission. A completed mission gives participating builders reward materials and presents the next build. Every completed adventure unlocks a new playable character (1 through 76), with special Adventure Champions at every fifth adventure. Previously completed adventures count; Family World champions are shared with all children, and Personal World champions belong to that child. Visit My Rewards to view your collection. Your personal world is separate from the family world.
World map, clock and parent teleport rulesKnow where you are and what time it is in the world.
Expand the World map to see more of the world, or minimize it to make room for play. The map has a restore control. Coordinates and markers help locate people and places; hide-and-seek rules can limit what is shown.
The world clock shows day/night time, with sunrise at 6:00 AM and sunset at 6:00 PM. This is game time, not a device appointment or timer.
Map teleport is available only when the current role and family rules permit it. A parent can restrict child teleporting. A missing or inactive teleport control does not grant access to other families' worlds.
Adventure, Mosslings and backpack recoveryRecover safely and follow the displayed next step.
Adventure rules can include Mosslings and other world interactions. Parents decide the child's adventure setting and applicable family-world rules.
After a setback, follow the return-to-meadow or backpack recovery message. If recovery is required, start or continue it from the displayed control; the backpack marker and distance help locate supplies when applicable. Learning protection keeps you safe while answering required challenges.
Use the exact instructions on the recovery screen. A world or Space does not need to be deleted to recover from a game setback.
Parent settings, adult roles and world accessLearning settings and play permission are separate.
In Parent Dashboard → child → Activities → Activity Settings, select Blockiversity. You can also open settings from the lobby as an authorized parent.
- Maximum saved play time: 10–240 minutes.
- Minutes earned per correct answer for the entire family: 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 minutes. Each answer adds that much saved time, subject to the bank limit. This is not a periodic interruption timer. New families start at 4 minutes. Change it in the in-world Blockiversity Settings panel or parent Activity Settings; one choice applies to all children, including their personal worlds.
- Math and Spelling challenge levels: 1–5.
- Enabled challenges: Math and/or Spelling.
- World choices: Family and personal worlds, family-only or personal-only.
- Adventure mode and child access.
In the in-world Blockiversity Settings panel, authorized parents can set the family-wide minutes earned per correct Math/Spelling answer and change Hide & Seek Mode, Mossling Attacks and Child Teleport. Hide & Seek hides other player map markers and direction/distance locators from children while parents still see everyone. Turning Mossling Attacks off keeps creatures roaming but stops their chasing and damage. Child Teleport controls children's map teleporting; parents retain their own permitted controls. These switches are separate from the child's Activity Settings.
A Caregiver needs assignment to the child and Blockiversity permission; adult play is unlimited but settings changes remain with Owners and Parents / Guardians. Guest access is governed by the connection's permissions and family rules.
Reset to defaults changes settings. Clear all Blockiversity data, resetting a Space, and Delete family remove different sets of data; review their displayed scope. See Parent Help for data and account controls.
Blank world, connection errors and returning safelyTry display and connection checks before changing saved data.
Blockiversity needs working WebGL 3D graphics. A blank world can occur when graphics are disabled or unsupported. Ask a parent to try an updated browser, check hardware acceleration where available, or try another device. Changing your password or deleting saved work will not enable 3D graphics.
If the game cannot open, use Try again when shown. For a network interruption, reconnect using the displayed recovery option; avoid opening many duplicate game tabs. If controls are stuck, return using the browser Back button or reopen your own Space address.
In a working world, Game Menu → Choose another world returns to the lobby, and Back to SproutSpace returns to the Space. The house button also returns to SproutSpace.
If trouble continues, tell your parent the device/browser, what you clicked and the exact message. Include a screenshot when useful, without passwords or secret sharing links.
Need a parent?
Some things are supposed to require parent help.
Passwords, activity permissions, sharing permissions, storage, billing, and family settings belong to the adult account.
